This is a Javanese traditional bench with a concave shape seat upward, leg downward, handmade of teak solid wood and unfinished. The K bench has been famous since 18th century in central java, especially in Jepara district.
– quarter circle slatted left and right ends/arm rests;
– a rounded top frame;
– a wooden slatted seat;
– curved legs with plain stretcher from the front leg to the back leg;
– arrow feet.
The K bench is made similar to the Kartini stool, or known as Yuyu stool in Indonesian furniture market.
